A report published by “Yemen Net” website revealed the stages and attempts of the UAE (49 years old) to colonize the oldest civilization in the Arab region, Yemen.
The UAE has using Yemen – including ports and islands – as a starting point of a regional army, turning itself into a “mini Sparta” through deployed troops among several military bases outside the country.
The report mentions the history of the UAE prior to its establishment, where that land was called as “the Omani Coast”, and 49 years after its establishment, its army is building its own colony in Yemen.
The report cited the reason for the name Mini Sparta, where James Mattis called it that name, referring to the Greek town “Sparta”, whose men were fighting everywhere as mercenaries.
