Dozens of military vehicles belonging to Abu Al-Abbas Brigades backed by the UAE moved on Friday evening to the area of al-Qadha in the countryside, west of the city, hours after an agreement done between the brigades and official authorities.
The deal stipulated to departure of the militants of the Brigades and to hand over the “wanted” for security .
A security source said that about 30 military cars and 3 armored vehicles belonging to Abu Al-Abbas left the city with armed elements.
According to the source, more than eight ambulances carrying wounded members of the armed group went with the crew to Al-Kadaha.. pointing out that the forces of the Presidential Guard and private security accompanied the armed groups.
The source added that Abu Abbas committed to hand over the wanted men, but stipulated the departure of its members first.
Earlier yesterday, the truce committee in the city reached an agreement to stop the clashes between the security campaign and UAE-backed brigades and to deliver the “wanted men” to security and to evacuate the residential neighborhoods in the old city from insurgents.
