Residents of a neighbourhood in Aden said that the commander of security installations in the security belt have taken by force a public park for children, next to a police station, and began the excavation and fencing.
The residents of Abdul Aziz neighbourhood in Sheikh Othman district confirmed that they tried to stop the process of the acquisition on the park, but he responded to them by firing and continued to build in it.
According to residents, the site is a public park and no ownership papers have been issued to anyone.
The residents appealed to Interior Minister Eng. Ahmed al-Maisari to stop the operations of illegal acquisition and the excavations in the park.
