The governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan, head of the security committee, directed the commander of the axis, Major General Samir al-Hajj and the Director-General of Police, Brigadier Mansour al-Aqhali, to complete the security campaign to pursue suspects.
The governor’s directive states that a security campaign will be launched to arrest the remaining defendants and those wanted in the eastern and northern areas.
The governor had directed at the mid of last night to suspend the security campaign in the old city after the leader of the conference party, Yusuf Hayani delivered himself to the commander of the fifth brigade (presidential guard) Brigadier Adnan Ruzaiq.
The security campaign fought fierce battles in the past two days against the gunmen of Yusuf Hayani and some members of Abu Al-Abbas Brigades south of the city of Taiz, resulted in deaths and injuries between the parties and civilians.
