A security source revealed on Tuesday the involvement of the leader in the so-called “Southern Transitional Council” Hani Ben Brik, in sending terrorist cells to the province of Mahara in eastern Yemen.
“Ben Brik, a leader of the Abu Dhabi-backed transitional council, is directly linked to terrorist cells in the province,” a security source said.
The source confirmed that terrorist elements in the city of al-Ghidha, the capital of the province, received large sums of money in late January. pointing out that the source was Hani Ben Brik.
The statement came after the UAE-backed Transitional Council in the province of Maharah announced the opening of the registration for an “armed militias” that the UAE intends to form in the province, such as militias in Aden, Hadhramout and Shabwa.
