Tense raises among houthis leaders: national security arrests al-Mua’ayad over disputes with head of tax authority in Sana’a

Informed sources in Sanaa revealed disputes between the head of the tax authority appointed by the Houthis, Hashim Mohammed al-Shami and the general manager of the Large Taxpayers Unit, Radwan al-Mua’ayad ended with the arrest of the latter.

According to “Al-Masdar Online”, the source who asked not to be named, said that Hashim Al-Shami used national security after disputes raised with Radwan Al- Mua’ayad over the revenues of his unit.

“national security agents stormed the office of Al- Mua’ayad on Saturday and arrested him” source said.

Ha clarified that al-Mua’ayad has since been detained and his office is closed till now.
