Four key Yemeni parties calls UN’s special envoy to visit Taiz

A number of key Yemeni political parties called on the UN special envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths to visit the city of Taiz, which under the siege of Houthis.

The call came In a statement issued on behalf of the parties, “the General People’s Congress, the Yemeni Rally for reform”Islah”, the Yemeni Socialist Party and the Nasserist People’s Unionist organization”, at the end of the meeting held in Shanghai, China, on the sidelines of the dialogue conference between the Communist Party of China and political parties in the Arab countries.

The political parties also called on, Martin Griffiths, to give more attention to the humanitarian situation in the besieged city of Taiz, as well as to work to break the siege and stop the continuous shelling of neighborhoods by Houthis.
