The General Electric Corporation in Aden denied the authenticity of press reports published on Tuesday in which separatist media said the
Saudi fuel grant to power stations had been blocked by Yemeni businessman Sheikh Ahmed Saleh al-Eisy.
The Information Service of the Foundation said in a press statement received by “Aden News” that what was published in this regard is untrue, pointing out that the Saudi grant for electricity has not reached from the source, and has not been disbursed till now by the Saudi authorities.
The information department said that 120 megawatts of private electricity in Aden had been out of service during the past two days, due to the decrease in the proportion of fuel pumped to the power plants in Aden.
